There are two main types:

• Close-up work lenses are designed with a close-range focus, with the sharpest viewing area typically positioned around arm’s length, depending on the lens type and prescription. This makes them an especially ergonomic choice for computer work. The shorter the viewing distance, the wider and more comfortable the visual area. They are also ideal for reading and hobbies that require near vision, allowing you to see slightly farther through the upper part of the lens compared to standard reading glasses.
• Office lenses are designed for indoor use. These progressive lenses are optimized for near and intermediate distances, for example when shifting your gaze between a computer screen, a meeting room board or a television at home.
